Nagesh has been instrumental in envisioning the direction & growth of Symphony Pharma. He is also the Co-Founder & COO of Smart IMS Inc., a global IT Services company. Nagesh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kakatiya University, India. He is actively involved in funding for multiple Start-ups, thus encouraging young minds. Education, Agri, Public Health, Social Equality, are a few other areas that Nagesh has contributed.

A well-versed research leader with over 26+ years of broad experience in drug discovery research, process research, process validation, process optimization, polymorphism, scale up, cGMP manufacturing and business operations. His excellent understanding of synthetic chemistry, regulatory requirement coupled with adequate knowledge of intellectual property helped him to provide cost effective solutions to drug discovery, CMC, clinical and generic API programs to Pharmaceutical and Biotech companies. Worked with organizations such as Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories (DRL) & Laurus Labs. He has been honored by DRL with “Best Service Excellence” award and “Certificate of Recognition”. He oversees Symphony Pharma’s technical and business operations as well as drives its investment to develop and strengthen its capabilities and capacities.
Dr. Manjunatha
Advisor - Process Research
& Development
Has 40 years of experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, agrochemical and biotech industries. Expertise in various fields of organic chemistry covering the spectrum of drug design & development, process design & development, and commercialization of developed technologies in Pharma/Agro/Fine chemical areas. The areas of expertise include the design of chemical Research labs, and chemical plants, setting up a new research group, coaching and training young scientists in good research practices, and design of good documentation systems. He has about 30 publications in leading journals and 16 patents to his credit.
Dr. Malla Reddy Samala
Head - Process Research &
Development
Experienced professional scientist with over 22 years of industrial and academic experience in the design, conception, discovery, synthesis, purification, identification, optimization, process development and manufacturing of chemical intermediates and target active pharmaceutical ingredients. Broad knowledge of organic synthesis, organo-metallic, carbohydrate, heterocyclic and medicinal chemistry.
Dr. Bandaru Sreedhar

Development
15+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with expertise in analytical method development, validations & cGMP documentation. Also, expertise in SOPs writing & implementation of Quality systems.
He is well versed with SOPs writing and implementation of quality systems. He plays a vital role in developing analytical systems and procedures in line with the global regulatory requirements.
Prior to joining Symphony Pharma, he was with organizations such as the National Institute of Nutrition (ICMR), Optimus Pharma, Srini Pharma, and Saraca Labs.
